Scholarships & Awards

We are currently accepting Fall 2026 program support applications and program recognition award nominations. Scholarship applications will re-open in December.

Program Award applications and nominations are reviewed and announced in the Spring, Summer, and Fall each year.  The deadline for Fall 2026 award applications and nominations is October 1, 2026.

Scholarships are awarded once for the coming academic year.  The 2027-28 Legacy Scholarship applications will open December 1, 2026. The application deadline is March 1, 2027.  Scholarships will be announced on April 10, 2027.

    Kevin Roe Legacy Fund Scholarships

    Scholarships are awarded each year to LGBTQ+ students studying public health or related fields at SJSU, demonstrating commitment to the values Kevin lived by and leadership potential through recent activity or plans.

    Kevin Roe Legacy Fund Awards

    Recognition and funding awards to programming and initiatives that contribute to the health, safety, recognition, and/or contributions of the queer community at SJSU.
